In SmartPhone, Tablet, Technology on October 28, 2013 at 7:39 am

Several teachers have wonder if there is a way to make shortcut icon to the website that is being use very frequently. The answer is YES!

Here is the instruction below to assist you on making a shortcut icon on your iPad:

1) Open the Safari

2) Navigate to the Web page you want to create a shortcut

3) Press the button to the immediate left of the address bar, which is shaped like a small box with an arrow pointing to the right. (iOS 6) For iOS 7, is a small box with an arrow pointing up.

4) Select “Add to Home Screen” and type a name for the shortcut’s icon that will be displayed on the home screen.

5) Tap the small blue “Add” button in the upper right corner of the “Add to Home” box. The shortcut will be saved to the iPad’s home screen and will return you to the Web page when tapped.

6) If you create more shortcut(s), you can combine shortcuts into a new folder and set as Category as Subject like Math, Reading, etc.

I hope this instruction find you well and have a great week!

Thanks,

Donny 🙂
