In Technology, Website on October 30, 2012 at 9:14 am

Hello Blogger

I can’t believe November is approaching soon and want to share something fun for your class. I received an email from one of the teacher who send out a fun link called Draw a Stickman Game. It is almost like a hangman but more of an interactive game. It encourage you to draw a custom stickman and watch him come to life in this interactive stickman adventure. I think this is a good way for elementary student to participate and to encourage critical thinking.

Check out the URL link: and see it for yourself.

Hope you will try it out and if you have anything useful that you want me to post, feel free to do so.

Have an awesome Halloween week!

Using iPad or iPhone but can’t play Flash?

In Tablet, Technology on October 19, 2012 at 2:19 pm

From time, I have struggle to find my iPad and my iPhone to work with website that use Flash.

Good news! There is an App for an iPad or iPhone that can play Flash but I have to say that it works 90% of the time. I’m sure most of you who use iPAD has a child and complain that it won’t play Flash game like StarFall.

When comparing Safari to Puffin Web browser, Puffin did a better job of speeding up the page and play most of the game site that require Flash. For just $2.99, you can’t complain.

Enjoy and have a great weekend,

In Technology, Website on October 2, 2012 at 7:44 am

As a parent, my wife and I have browse for a way to help our child to enjoy reading and be a critical thinker. This site is very useful for teacher and parent as a great tool to boost student’s reading. I encouraged you to check out the website at to start using a great resource for your student/child. Here is the side note I got from the website below:

As we started learning, we realized that many other parents are probably in the same boat. And, we realized that many teachers need supplemental resources that don’t stress the budget! That’s how was born.  We work with experienced reading teachers and curriculum specialists, who write helpful articles and develop curriculum that can be used in the classroom or at home to supplement what’s happening in class.

I hope you will check out the site and rate this if you feel it is a great resources.
